How Did We Get Here?

The November 2020 Bond was developed through an in-depth process that directly involved the community. WFISD conducted a Thought Exchange where they heard from nearly 1,000 community members about the needs in the district. From there, WFISD put together a Long-Range Facility Plan that was presented back to the community over a series of open forums. Thanks to the input gathered in the forums, the district was able to refine the Long-Range Facility Plan - and the included bond election - and present it to the Board of Trustees.
